A lot of people are running around ignoring God, even rebelling against God, and somehow still thinking that He's their buddy in the sky. But He's not. And a lot of people are running around thinking they're at peace with God and God with them, but that's not true either. In God's sight, because of their sin, they are his enemies. And to live as an enemy of God is horrible. To die as an enemy of God is even more so.
